Bellwether Intel Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026 ยท Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bellwether Intel LLC, a California limited liability company ("Bellwether," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Bellwether Intel website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). It applies to visitors to our website and to account holders and their authorized users.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account information, including name, business name, email address, password, job title, and the brands or organizations you set up in the Service.
  • Billing information, including billing contact, billing address, and subscription plan. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.
  • Communications, including messages you send to support, demo requests, form submissions, and survey responses.
  • Customer Data, meaning the documents, brand materials, website addresses, marketing content, prompts, competitor and audience information, and other content you or your users submit to the Service.
  • Information collected automatically

  • Usage information, including pages viewed, features and tools used, actions taken in the Service, and timestamps.
  • Device and connection information, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and general location inferred from IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand aggregate usage.
  • Information from third parties

  • Connected accounts. If you connect a third-party account such as a social platform, publishing platform, or advertising account, we receive information from that account as authorized by you and by that provider.
  • Public and licensed data. To produce analyses and recommendations, the Service retrieves publicly available web content and licensed marketing data about brands, competitors, keywords, and channels. This may incidentally include personal information that appears in public sources, such as a name associated with a public social account or byline.
  • 2. How We Use Information

    We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support the Service.
  • Create accounts, authenticate users, and manage subscriptions and billing.
  • Generate the analyses, scores, recommendations, content, and other outputs you request.
  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, security, product changes, and support requests.
  • Send marketing communications about our products, which you may opt out of at any time.
  • Monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service, and to enforce our agreements.
  • Understand how the Service is used, diagnose problems, and improve our products.
  • Comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
  • We rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations as our bases for processing.

    3. Artificial Intelligence Processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence models operated by third-party providers to generate outputs. Content you submit, including Customer Data and prompts, is transmitted to those providers to produce the outputs you request.

We do not use Customer Data or outputs to train generalized artificial intelligence models except where you have separately opted in. Third-party model providers handle the content transmitted to them under their own terms, which vary by provider and by plan.

Outputs are generated automatically. We do not use the Service to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

Our Terms of Service prohibit submitting sensitive categories of personal information to the Service, including health information, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, biometric data, and precise geolocation. Please do not submit that information.

    4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use vendors to operate the Service, including cloud hosting and database providers, artificial intelligence model providers, research and web data providers, publishing and social distribution providers, transactional email providers, payment and payout processors, and analytics providers. These vendors process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.
  • At your direction. When you connect a third-party account or publish content through the Service, we transmit information to that platform as you instruct.
  • Within your organization. If your account is part of an organization or brand workspace, administrators and other authorized users of that workspace may access content and activity within it.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or security incidents.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data. We may create and share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you or any individual.
  • 5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in and protecting against fraud, and cookies that help us understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.

Advertising measurement. On our public marketing pages only, we use the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It records page views and two completion events, one when a Vibe Check finishes and one when an AI Visibility Check finishes, along with the resulting score. On our campaign landing pages it also records when someone submits the contact form or starts checkout. On those pages we also keep our own record of which sections were viewed, which buttons were clicked, how far the page was scrolled, and the ad campaign that brought the visitor, tied to a random visitor ID rather than your name. We do not send Meta your name, email address, or the contents of your results. We use this only to measure whether our advertising works. The pixel does not load on signed-in pages, and it does not load for visitors in regions where prior consent is required. You can opt out through your Meta ad preferences, your browser cookie settings, or a tracking blocker, and opting out does not affect your use of the Service.

We do not respond differently to Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no common standard for how they should be handled.

    6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Following termination of your account, we may delete Customer Data and account information after a reasonable period consistent with our operational and legal requirements. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems as part of our routine backup cycle. You are responsible for retrieving or saving any Customer Data you wish to keep before your access ends.

If you would like your data deleted sooner, email privacy@mybellwether.com.

    7. Security

We maintain administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we rely on the physical security controls of the managed cloud providers that host the Service. These include row-level access controls that scope data to the account and brand it belongs to, role-based access for our personnel, encryption in transit, server-side storage of credentials and secrets, logged administrative activity, and regular backups.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, email security@mybellwether.com immediately.

    8. Your Choices and Rights

    You may:

  • Access and update your account information through the Service.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and operational retention needs.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting us. You will continue to receive transactional and account messages.
  • Disconnect any third-party account you have connected to the Service.
  • To make a request, email privacy@mybellwether.com. We will verify your identity before responding, typically by confirming control of the email address associated with the account. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you are an authorized user under a business account, we act at the direction of that account holder, and we may refer your request to them.

California residents. California law gives residents rights to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise your rights using the contact details below, and you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

    9. International Users

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

    10. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, email privacy@mybellwether.com and we will delete it.

    11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, for example by posting the updated policy with a new effective date or by email. The date at the top of this policy shows when it was last revised.
